Home NAS

#1
Hi,

Great youtube channel, well done!

I'm looking to invest in my first nas. Use cases are backup, video storage/retrieval, photo backup from iPhone.

Nas looks like a more economcal solution compared with Google Drive/iCloud etc.

I'm finding that I'm running out of space on these quickly mostly due to photos and video.

Any recommendations for a 2 bay nas for 500 knicker?

Thanks,

Josh.

For your use cases of backup, video storage/retrieval, and photo backup from iPhone, the DS220+ from Synology would be a recommended choice. It offers excellent value for the price and allows you to install a wide range of apps to cater to your specific needs. The DS220+ also features a multimedia chip, enabling remote access to your videos, making it a convenient solution. With its affordability and versatile capabilities, the DS220+ is a solid option for your first NAS investment within a budget of 500 knicker.
