Qnap TS-453D?

Qnap = 2x Ram 8GB or 1 Ram 16GB?

I bought this unit (TS-453D) and I am curious if I should install two (2) new 8GB RAM to add 16GB or is it better to install a single 16GB RAM ?

It depends if you will want to upgrade this NAS further or not. There is a 95% chance you will never need more than 16GB of RAM. In this case, I would choose dual RAM. On a theoretical level, this setup will work faster than a single RAM setup.I hope this helps.
