Want to buy a nas

#1
Hi, im trying to buy a nas, preferably from Qnap, my neigbour has a synology and had to send it back 3 times for repairs.
I have 3 mac's, i want to use timemachine to back up the macs to a nas.
And im a video hobbyist and shoot in 4K or 4K HDR, i want to put my video's on a nas too, a diffrent part of the nas. I have been looking at the QNAP TVS-672XT and the QNAP TS-664. But i cant make up my mind since i dont know what is best for me? Could you please help me? Kind regards M.Budding

Yes, Synology is not MAC-friendly. Qnap models like 72XT series come with Thunderbolt connection as well as 10GbE. I would also suggest this model.
TS-664 is a much weaker NAS. It can be upgraded with 10gbe card later on. Otherwise, it is limited to slower LAN speeds.
Remote video sharing will be similar on both system. But if you use things like PLEX and 4K, then 72XT series will do a better job. Some people prefer 873A with GPU card for that purpose.

I hope this helps.
