Any MEMTEST Results for > 8GB+ QNAP TS-x53D??

#1
I'm interested in the QNAP TS-453D. NASCompares has shown it can work with 2x 16GB (32GB) capacity, HOWEVER, no conclusive memory tests were performed! Everyone, including NASCompares, just assumes if QTS can launch everything is working. Ridiculous.

Has anyone installed more than 8GB then run MEMTEST to confirm the CPU can actually read/write beyond the Intel-stated 8GB limit?

Having QTS simply boot or just running a VM within QTS while not using it are terrible tests considering how efficiently OS's and CPU's can handle resources these days.

A valid test would be to fill the memory beyond the advertised 8GB capacity and see what happens.

See this REDDIT Article. MEMTEST was performed for 6 hours. The conclusions are positive.https://www.reddit.com/r/qnap/comments/ji1ipa/qnap_ts453d_tested_with_32gb_ram/

What is working (currently) in my TS-653D is a strange combination that I've had just siting around my home:1 x hp26d4s9s8me-8 : 8GB 1Rx8 PC4-2666V-SA1-11 (Kingston 8GB 2666MHz DDR4 PC4-21300 non-ECC Unbuffered SoDIMM - OEM from an HP Notebook)1 x MTA8ATF1G64HZ-2G6E1 : 8GB 1Rx8 PC4-2666V-SA2-11 (Micron 8GB 2666MHz DD4 PC4-21300 non-ECC Unbuffered SoDIMM)I've created a Win10 VM with 12GB of RAM, without enabling the settings "Enable memory sharing" and "Enable dynamic memory allocation", and starting the VM bring the numbers shown in Resource Monitor to: 15.02 GB (Used) / 15.54 GB (Total Usable Memory)I've used the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool and the result was "The Windows Memory Diagnostic tested the computer's memory and detected no errors".I've used also the old QNAP Diagnostic Tool 1.1.3, and did a test with 5 VM (worker) for 60 seconds. Result was ok, either with the VM started and with the VM stopped. The system is stable, so I can say that 16GB = 2 x 8GB is working fine for this QNAP model. In the next days I will receive the 32GB (2 x 16 GB) Kit from Crucial (PN: CT2K16G4SFD8266 DualRank x8 CL19 DDR4 PC4-21300 Unbuffered NON-ECC) and I will repeat the tests (with maximum available RAM for the VM)
