Drobo help needed: orange light

#1
I've this B810i and because of the orange light, the data is not accessible from mac. What options do I have to fix it? Is there anyway I can access the data? Should I replace that drive? or is there any suggestion on where take it to service? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It seems like the issue you're facing with the orange light and not being able to access the data from your Mac might be related to compatibility issues. Drobo no longer officially supports macOS for direct access, so you may need to connect the B810i to a Windows machine instead to access your data.

If you have access to a Windows PC, try connecting the Drobo to it and see if you're able to access your files. If the data is still not accessible, the issue might be more serious, and you may need to look into troubleshooting the drive or potentially replacing the faulty one.

As for the orange light, it typically indicates a warning, and it could mean that one of the drives is failing or in a degraded state. You can try checking the system status through the Drobo Dashboard software, which will provide more details about the drive's health.
