Migration Assistant-Enable "Advanced Data Integrity" on Destination Homes Share?

I am planning (hopefully) on using Synology Migration Assistant to go from source DS415+ to destination DS423+. All my BTRFS source shares have "Data Checksum for Advanced Data Integrity" enabled except for "Homes". 

How can I get Advanced Data Integrity also enabled for the "Homes" share on the new destination NAS? Eg.

1. Does Migration Assistant allow for somehow adding that option or does it only copy settings exactly what is from the source?
   
2. Or must I somehow create on the DS423+ the "Homes" share with it enabled? How is that done? (because i tried when I first went from EXT3 to BTRFS a few years back but was unsuccessful only on "Homes" share)

Unfortunately, Synology Migration Assistant does not currently have the capability to modify share settings during the migration process. This means it won't automatically enable "Advanced Data Integrity" for the "Homes" share on the destination NAS.

Here's how you can manually enable it:

Complete the Migration:

Use Migration Assistant to transfer all data from the source DS415+ to the destination DS423+.
Enable Advanced Data Integrity on the Destination NAS:

Access the "File Station" app on your DS423+.
Navigate to the "Homes" share.
Right-click on the share and select "Properties".
In the "Advanced" tab, check the box for "Enable data checksum for advanced data integrity".
Click "OK" to save the changes.
Important Note:

Enabling "Advanced Data Integrity" can impact performance, especially for high-write workloads.
Consider the potential performance implications before enabling it for the "Homes" share, which might experience frequent writes.
Additional Considerations:

Data Scrubbing: After the migration, you might want to initiate a data scrubbing process on the destination NAS to verify data integrity. This can be done through the Storage Manager app.
Backup Strategy: Having a robust backup strategy in place is crucial, regardless of the data integrity settings. Consider using Synology's built-in backup tools or third-party solutions to protect your data.
