New NAS

#1
I am a big fan of yours on You Tube.

I want to hire you for 1 to 2 hours of consulting.

I have a home based business. 2 people, I am a CPA in the US.

Money is not a problem.

I am utterly confused as to which NAS I want to buy. I have narrowed my choice down to:

- Synology DS 923+ (with 32GB RAM, 10GB NIC, 1.6TD cache, and 10TD SSD),

- Green 4TB Flash NAS, or

- QNAP TBS-H574TX.

I have two Macs and would like to back up the Macs (using Time Machine) to my NAS then back up the NAS to the cloud.

Thank you for your kind words and for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you navigate through your NAS options.

All three choices you’ve shortlisted are solid, but they cater to different needs. The Synology DS923+ with your proposed upgrades is a fantastic option, especially if you value simplicity and reliability. Synology’s software integrates well with Mac, making Time Machine backups easy and seamless.

The QNAP TBS-H574TX offers great versatility with its 10GbE support, which can be beneficial if speed is a priority for you. However, the interface can be a bit more complex, especially for advanced features like cloud syncing.

As for the Asustor Flash NAS, it's known for its high-speed performance, which is great for certain workloads. However, depending on your usage, it might not offer the same level of software support or integration as Synology or QNAP.
