Certainly! For your homelab setup with TrueNAS Scale, NextCloud, Jellyfin, Homeassistant, Docker containers, and a self-hosted Ghost in Docker, here's a recommended hardware configuration:

NAS: Synology DS923+

CPU: AMD Ryzen R1600 (Passmark 3147)
RAM: 4GB DDR4 (expandable up to 32GB)
Storage: Supports 2x 8TB mirrored disks
SSD: Install a separate SSD for the OS
Expansion: Multiple USB and eSATA ports for room for expansion
Server: Custom Build

CPU: Intel Core i5 or i7 for robust performance
RAM: 16GB or more for handling various applications
Storage: SSD for fast OS access
Expansion: Choose a motherboard with enough PCIe slots for potential future upgrades
Ensure both systems are connected on a reliable network to facilitate seamless communication between them. This setup provides a balance between the Synology DS923+ NAS for storage and basic services and a custom-built server for more demanding applications and Docker containers. Additionally, it allows room for future expansion, providing a versatile homelab environment.
