Wanting to start a NAS for multimedia at home

#1
Been using multiple portable drives for years now. As movies are growing larger in size and the drives growing older, performance is starting to slow. I've been out of the loop for a couple years so need something fairly simple to help get me set while I learn things. Been looking at the DS224+, but just want to know if that's the right thing for me, or if you may have a better suggestion.

Absolutely, the DS224+ could be a solid choice for your multimedia needs at home. It's a user-friendly option with a quad-core Intel Celeron J4125 and transcoding capabilities, making it suitable for handling growing movie sizes. If simplicity is key for you, the DS224+ ticks the right boxes.
. Feel free to explore the NAS Finder tool (https://nascompares.com/nas-builder/) for a quick overview based on your preferences. Here's to smooth sailing into the world of NAS and hassle-free multimedia storage!
