Buying first NAS

#1
Hi
I am looking for advice.
What I want is something that will host my photos and videos, and being able to play those videos from my phone or computer or TV via streaming capabilities.
Maybe also use something like Plex?

I might also stores some documents and files which I can download onto my device as per need.
Are the synology entry level devices good enough? I kinda liked the software and all

Would appreciate your advice

The Synology DS223 is a 2-bay NAS (Network Attached Storage) device featuring a Realtek RTD1619B CPU with a transcoding engine, and it comes equipped with 1GbE DDR4 non-ECC. This NAS is a solid choice for home users or small businesses with moderate storage needs.

The DS223 provides the flexibility of running various Synology packages, including multimedia applications for managing and streaming photos and videos. It offers good performance for day-to-day file storage and access.
