NON SYNOLOGY SSD AS STORAGE POOL

#1
Hello guys. You are the best resource online for a nas noobie like me Smile i bouth the ds923+ and am waiting for my iron wolfs to arrive for raid 1. Got 2 1tb sn770 as well with the idea to use them as storage pools for the apps(missed to check that this is not possible with non synology drives) i hope this will work but wondered if you have tested it?

Absolutely, and first off, big kudos on choosing the DS923+! It's a powerhouse. Now, about using non-Synology SSDs for storage pools, you're on the right track. Many users have successfully utilized the code from https://github.com/007revad/Synology_HDD_db to enable 3rd party drives, including SSDs, in their Synology NAS setups.
