Memory Problems

#1
Hi! I have a 423+ and got the 16 gb crucial RAM in there today and the system won't boot. I tried it with all the drives out and it still won't boot.
I got DDR4 3200 SODIMM. Did I get the right thing? Are there any troubleshooting steps I should take?

Thank you

It's not uncommon to face compatibility issues when upgrading RAM. Even if you got the right type, variations in manufacturing could cause problems. I recommend checking our tested list of Synology NAS compatible RAM here: https://nascompares.com/answer/synology-...tible-ram/. It provides details on RAM modules that have been tested to work well with Synology NAS units. This should help you find a reliable solution for your DS423+. If you're still facing issues, consider reaching out to Synology support for further assistance. And hey, if you're on the lookout for Black Friday deals, check this page for some awesome discounts: https://amzn.to/3QRCZyL.

Best of luck, and I hope you get your DS423+ up and running smoothly!
