Which NAS for home rack

#1
Thanks for the opportunity to ask a few questions and get some advice

Recently moved into a new home and I have fitted a wall rack to my office.

I have run CAT6 cables to various rooms (mainly 2 runs behind every TV), and terminated them in wall plates.

Have a UNIFI setup with a UDM SE in my rack and an XG 24 switch (arriving this week).

I also have an old QNAP TS-453A just sat at bottom of my rack, with 3 x 4Tb drives in which I currently just use for storage.

I am unsure what exactly to be looking at but a rackmount NAS would fit in nice to my setup.

I would want to take advantage of a great throughput from NAS to various devices and I want to be able to get PLEX setup and streaming from it.

All my TVs are wall mounted and 4k native resolution.

I hope thats no too brief an outline

10GBe , PLEX , hardware decoding , NVMe slots (Gen ??) , data backup/storage

Cheers
Steve

There are not many options. Here are two models with NVMe slots :
https://www.qnap.com/en-uk/product/ts-46...s/hardware (no 10GbE)
https://www.synology.com/en-uk/products/RS1619xs+#specs (10GbE via PCIe upgrade)

Otherwise, you can look at models with dual PCIe slots where you can install NVMe card and 10GbE card.

I hope this helps.
