Video Idea: NAS + Nvidia Shield TV Pro + Plex

NAS + Nvidia Shield TV Pro + Plex AND video idea
Most of my home videos are MP4 files but I would like to have some 4k video files to stream. Would it help if I added the Nvidia Shield TV Pro to my NAS in order to stream 4k videos over DS Videostation or Plex? Would this extra piece of equipment help to transcode since the DS1522+ doesn't have integrated graphics? Or would it be pointless to have an Nvidia Shield TV Pro (pros & cons to adding this to my NAS)?
Thanks,

The Nvidia Shield TV Pro has the unique ability to run PMS instead of just the Plex front end. I think a lot of people use the Shield TV to transcode video files from their NAS because the NVIDIA Tegra X1+ processor is designed for video processing. It can easily handle 4K 60fps video in H.265/HEVC, VP8, VP9, H.264, MPEG1/2 and just about every Dolby audio format at the same time. It's far more powerful than any Intel integrated graphics available. I think it's why a lot of people don't really care about Synology moving away from Intel CPU's. That and most people just stream from their NAS to devices in their house so they use KODI instead of Plex anyway.
