NAS for music library

#1
2 bay NAS, use 1 drive at first then add another later.
Use for music library, networked with a BluOS PowerNode music streamer.
About 10 TB total storage.
Not for streaming video.
I have WD 10 TB external hard drive for backup.
I have some HD drives of various sizes (8 to 12 TB) I could use.
Can't afford "Big Bucks"

Many thanks

If you're looking for a 2-bay NAS that's affordable and will be primarily used to store your music library, I would recommend the Synology DS220j. This NAS is budget-friendly and offers a simple, easy-to-use interface for managing your music files. You can start with a single drive and add another one later as you need more storage space.

The DS220j supports the BluOS PowerNode music streamer and provides 10TB of total storage, which should be sufficient for your needs. Additionally, it has a backup function that allows you to back up your data to an external hard drive, like the WD 10TB drive you already have.

You can also use your existing hard drives to set up the NAS. The DS220j supports drives of various sizes, so you can choose the ones that best fit your needs.

Overall, the Synology DS220j is a good choice for someone looking for an affordable, easy-to-use NAS that's specifically designed for music storage.
