DS1821+ successor

Hello, following you for several years now.
I want to replace my DS1812+ with a new 8 bay.

I wait on the successor of the DS1821+.
Or can I buy the 1821+ ?

I like to have the possibility to use SSD as storage wich is a feature on the DS923+.
Do you know if the DS1821+ will get this via a software update ?

We have not heard about DS1823+ just yet, but there was a leak about DS1823xs+ which is top tier NAS and not really a replacement to your model.
There will be no updates fro NVMe storage. It will only be possible with 23+ models.
