NAS for video editing?

#2
Lockerstor 10 NAS AS6510T features Atom CPU, which is almost 3 times slower compared to 72XT. As a single user, you would not notice a difference. But if you need multiple users connecting with reliable 10GbE speeds, Atom will not do a very good job. Even TVs-872N with a 10GbE card would be a good option. Having a faster CPU ensure that NAS can maintain a RAID as well as prepare network data packets for sending fast enough. And then there is still more performance available for other things like web/email/video server etc.I hope this helps.
