However, if you're interested in improving performance, you could place a SATA SSD in Bay 1 for the OS and apps. But a better option would be to invest in NVMe caching, which will really speed things up, especially if you’re accessing large files or running multiple applications. The HDDs will serve you well for storage across the other bays, providing a good balance of capacity and performance.
