I think I'll wait for a successor to the TS-464 till end of March 2022. This model was announced in March, so by then it's a 3 year-old product. If there's nothing announced by then, I guess I'll buy one, albeit with some slight reluctance.

The DS923+ I see as a downgrade. 1GbE... Yikes... Nah, no more!
And I'd prefer sticking to either Synology or QNAP.
Hopefully you'll find the right device for your needs without having to accept too many compromises!
