I want to be able to get these files online. For 2TB of family docs and photos with online access, the UGREEN DXP4800 is a decent pick—solid hardware, dual 2.5GbE ports, and 4 bays give you room to grow. It’ll handle your needs fine with the UGREEN app for remote access. But the DXP4800 Plus might be worth the extra cash: it’s got a faster CPU (Pentium Gold vs. N100), a 10GbE port for quicker transfers, and two M.2 slots if you want SSD speed later. Software-wise, they’re similar—still maturing, but functional for basics like this.
Would the Ugreen dxp4800 be suitable or should I opt for the plus model? Or maybe you would recommend something better.

If you’re just after reliability and don’t need the speed boost, the DXP4800 is enough. For something better, a Synology DS923+ offers a slicker OS and more app options, though it’s pricier and tops out at 2.5GbE. Depends on your budget and if you want to future-proof
