Hi. I want to upgrade my file storage, but not sure what is the better route to go. I have a lot of .MKV files on a portable hard drive (about 4TB on a 5TB My Passport Ultra). The main thing I need is something that has a lot more storage so I don't hit the max storage space, and also something that can make backups of the files so I don't lose anything. I didn't know if it would be better to go with a larger external hard drive (like a WD MyBook Duo, or their My Cloud EX2), or maybe get a NAS or something similar (not experienced in this area). Also this is not a must have but I was thinking about having the ability to access and stream the movies from somewhere else and also allow others to access the movies as well (which I think a NAS can do but the other external hard drives I mentioned can't do, right?). Currently I have to put the files on a separate flash drive and plug it into the tv. What would be your recommendation for me? Thank you.
