NAS upgrade?

#1
Our small engineering office ( <10 staff) uses a synology DS916+ and it has worked perfectly. We looking to upgrade our NAS and it looks like DS920+ or DS1621+ could be good candidates. Any thoughts or feedback or oher synology sugestions??

Yes, DS920+ would be an equivalent replacement model with a faster CPU and better graphics chip inside as well as cache slots.DS1621+ is slightly faster. It is also equipped with a CPU that could support 10GbE bandwidth speeds. It is not as multimedia friendly, but it is made for speed.Alternatively, you can try to add USB 5GbE adapter to a 4-bay NAS, if this is something you may need in the future.I hope this helps.
