new Qnap nvme

#1
I will be purchasing a new Qnap TVS-h874-i7-32G soon. If I would like to run multiple docker instances on it what size NVME drives would you recommend as a minimum? Also do you have an affiliate link for B&H in the US I could use to help the channel?

Thank you

Thank you for your inquiry about the QNAP TVS-h874-i7-32G and your plans to run multiple Docker instances. For optimal performance, especially when handling multiple containers, it's advisable to install NVMe SSDs in the M.2 slots for caching purposes.

While the system supports M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs in 2280 form factors, the minimum size of these SSDs can vary based on your specific workload and the number of Docker instances you plan to run.

For general use, SSDs with capacities starting from 250GB to 500GB are commonly used for caching. However, if you anticipate running numerous Docker containers simultaneously, opting for SSDs with larger capacities, such as 1TB or more, can provide better performance and longevity. It's also important to ensure that the SSDs you choose are compatible with the QNAP TVS-h874-i7-32G.

Regarding your request for an affiliate link for B&H in the US, you can join the B&H Affiliate Program to obtain your unique affiliate link. This will allow you to earn commissions on referrals made through your link.
