Hello,
I have recently setup an Asustor 5404T NAS. This is my first NAS system. I installed 2 16TB HDD's for storage. I recently came across a video that recommended installing the NAS OS on a SSD for a quieter and faster system. The video recommended taking all of the mechanical drives out first to install the OS on the SSD.
My question is can I take out the 2 drives I have installed - which have the OS and my media installed on, install a SSD, and then install the OS on it and re-insert the HDD's? Will I have to format the drives all over again with the OS conflict?
Thanks!
