NAS Repair DS2020+

#1
Hi - By any cahnce can you offer any advide on where to get a DS2020+ repaired (out of warranty)?

I simply plugged in a USB (powered) hub into the rear USB which seems to have blown what I hoped would be a fuse inside the NAS.

I can't believe it has no fused protection on the board and that it was so easily damaged, it's really put me off buying another.

Thank you - any advice is gratefully recieved.

I understand the frustration with the USB port issue on your DS220+. It's unfortunate that plugging in a USB hub caused such an inconvenience. For a quick fix, you might want to try using the other USB port on the NAS. However, to prevent any future mishaps, I recommend using a USB docking station that operates independently, running on its own power source. This ensures that the NAS remains protected, as these docking stations typically come equipped with fuses. It's an efficient solution to safeguard against any potential damage.
