RAM upgrade for DS1817+

Which 16Gb RAM module would you recommend to upgrade this 7ish year old NAS storing tonnes of old UK tv shows (Doctor Who incl.) and most Star Trek series
Running DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 6

I'd imagine that 8 -> 32 should help somewhat
There are 2 NVME 256

NAS has tossed 3 drives so far - but running hours are 51.600 and counting

Dropped Plex server on her - that runs in a Core-i 5 HP EliteDesk G4 with 16gb and 1tb NVME - sort of works until you hit pure UHD files, then the AppleTV Player goes Jeremy Clarkson - and it's back to 1080p

To upgrade the RAM in your 7ish year old NAS running DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 6, I recommend checking the list of compatible RAM modules provided by NASCompares (https://nascompares.com/answer/synology-...tible-ram/). Increasing the RAM from 8GB to 32GB would help, but only if you already run low on memory. Otherwise its CPU that needs changing.
