SA3400 alternative

We use couple of Synology SA3400. We have many 1217sas extensions and stock of 8TB SAS drives. For new location I need to get another storage, but sa3400 are no longer available, sa3410 claim no compatibility with our extensions nor disks. I cannot find similar system taking SAS drives which we have a plenty and new. Use is video editing. Do you know any SAS drive solution of similar performance? Synology software is not a must a we only use SMB access and replicate this storage to other ones. Buying all (storage and sata drives we cannot afford).

I would suggest chatting with Synology directly. They might figure out how to allow using existing hardware.
Otherwise, the model you are looking at is the only other NAS.
