Current Firmware is 2.13.08 (last update 4/16/22)

Can I update this any further?

Is there a work around to re-establish internet access?

Drives are configured in RAID. What options do I have to move the drives to another NAS that can provide internet access (i.e., remotely access my cloud/data)?

WD OS5 will not allow direct access to this NAS. But if you link it with a middleman device such as PC with remote access (Tailscale etc) you can gain access via different means.
