Upgrade ram in nas Ts 233

I have a nas TS 233 with 2 GB ram and would like to expand this . Do you know how many GB this NAS can handle and which brand do you recommend?

Unfortunately, the QNAP TS-233 has non-upgradable RAM — the 2GB is soldered directly onto the motherboard, so there's no RAM slot for adding or replacing memory. It's a great little NAS for light tasks, but it's not designed for RAM upgrades.

If you're starting to hit performance limits (e.g., slow apps or multitasking issues), you might want to consider a more expandable model down the line — something like the TS-464 or TS-453E, both of which support user-upgradable RAM and more demanding workloads.
