SATA SSD

#1
Looking for a bit of advice again. I was going to buy 4x8TB HDD’s for my new Synology 930+ which I bought after watching your videos thankyou. My thought now is to buy 3x12TB Synology Hat 3300 HDD’s for storage and then 1 WD Red SA500 4TB SSD for running a virtual machine. What are your thoughts on the idea?
Kind regards

Great to hear from you, and thanks for trusting our advice! Your plan is solid—opting for 3x12TB Synology Hat 3300 HDDs for storage provides a robust foundation. Introducing the WD Red SA500 4TB SSD for running a virtual machine is a smart move, balancing storage capacity and speed. Considering the DS923+'s capability, this setup aligns perfectly for your needs. It's an excellent choice for virtualization and local use. Looking ahead, this configuration should remain powerful for the next five years. Feel free to explore further or reach out if you have more questions. Happy NAS setup!
