migrate off drobo nas

#1
Hi, I guess it is time to migrate off my drobo fs. currently have 8 tb of movies and personal files. need rackmount nas. have qnap ts-231 backing up 6 tb of the drobo data. which qnap would you recommend. The drobo currently houses our plex media which is streamed by an i7 mac mini. It would potentially be a bonus to stream plex from the NAS but not required. thanks in advance

If you're looking to migrate from your Drobo FS and need a rackmount NAS with Plex streaming capability, consider a QNAP NAS that offers comparable or better hardware than your current setup. Look for models with Xeon or Intel Core i5/i7 processors. The TVS-H874 is a popular choice for this purpose. If you prefer a rack version, the TS-877XU-RP with Ryzen or the Xeon-based TS-H1283XU-RP would be suitable options. These models provide the power and performance needed for Plex streaming and managing your media files.
