Effective storage

#1
Is 1522+ quick to find data? I’m using a small NAS today that really needs an upgrade in storage and power. I’m using the NAS as reference storage and saves quite a lot of video material that I later pick up and edit. I also have an extensive library of pdf-material (above 10k files) that I need to search rather often.

Best regards,

With small files that are frequently accessed, I would recommend adding NVMe cache or use 2 HDD bays for 2x SSD in RAID1 where to store this data. NAS itself will not be as important as drives and RAID inside of it. I hope this helps.
