I have a new Synology ds220+ and have loaded Plex Media Server. I've left the default settings in place and uploaded some mp4 movies. I have a fairly recent LG B9 TV where I've installed the Plex client app (again default settings).
Whilst playback works immediately I'm not convinced the performance is optimum. There seems to be an audio sync issue and occasionally small degradation of the image (although this isn't too significant.).
Im new to this and have no prior knowledge of what performance to expect but assumed that as everything is current standard that it might be better than this.
I'm using WiFi to communicate between nas and TV but this is operating at speeds of approximately 150mbps.
Could anyone advise on whether this is 'normal' or have I made a newbie error?
