I recently purchased 5 (one spare) refurbished drives off of Ebay: Seagate ST12000NM0127 12TB 256MB 7200RPM 3.5" SATA 6.0Gb/s Enterprise Hard Drive
Hopefully they aren't complete junk or unreliable.
I'm looking to set them up in a NAS at my office to store general files / spreadsheets / photos / graphics design files / videos and marketing assets.
I've got through your configurator and watched several of your videos but hoping you have one or two NAS suggestions that are easy to set up and just work well. I don't need bells and whistles, just file security.
Worse case, a single computer is connected directly. Better case is multiple computers are connected wirelessly (still with a wired option), and ideal case is both of those plus the ability to access the drive directly remotely (securely).
No top secret docs here, but proprietary info, patentable info, financials etc so private.
I searched "best NAS for RAID 10" but all results were the opposite, best RAID for your NAS.TY
