Budget Synology Update

#1
Hi
I have a DS218J (since 2018)and runs well for storage and as a media server but now would like ability to run Home Assistant on Docker. I am assuming the natural upgrade would be the DS220+. Some questions I hope you can advise upon?

1. is a DS223+ on the horizon and should I wait?
2. Prices for DS220+ seem to have risen to over £300 - do you see the prices coming down again - any refurb outlets you recommend?
3. Can I migrate my current 6TB discs to the DS220+ if I set BTFRS on the new device?

Many Thanks!

Yes, there should be DS223+ or DS224+. It will have same specs as DS720+ most likely. So you can get that one instead.
Refurb options should be available on ebay.
You can only migrate those drives to another value series NAS without formating them. If you are happy to wipe them you can use them in plus series.
