How to configure QNAP TR-004 using the external Raid manager

Somehow I have done a configuration on the 4 drives but wanted to use the QNAP External Raid Manager

Configuring the QNAP TR-004 using the External RAID Manager is a straightforward process that offers enhanced flexibility and control over your storage setup. First, ensure that you have the QNAP External RAID Manager installed on your computer. Once installed, follow these steps:

Launch the QNAP External RAID Manager application on your computer.
Connect the TR-004 to your computer via USB.
In the QNAP External RAID Manager interface, you should see your TR-004 device listed.
Select the TR-004 device to view its current RAID configuration and available disks.
Use the QNAP External RAID Manager interface to configure your desired RAID level (e.g., RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, etc.) and disk allocation.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the RAID configuration process.
Once the configuration is complete, you can safely eject the TR-004 from your computer and connect it to your QNAP NAS or other compatible device.
