Is it OK for "regular" NAS folders to be subfolders of "Shared" folder?

#1
In the process of moving data from DS216+II to DS1522+. I understand that the folder structure on the drive requires at least one "Shared" folder.  On my old drive years ago I created one called "shared" and then regular folders for photos, video, and music; (all at the top level).  On the new drive  also created a shared folder (again, called "shared") but for some reason I created the other three folders as sub-folders under the shared folder. Note: I am the only user with no plans to set up other users or groups.)

You can simply move drives to a new NAS. Otherwise use Synology migration tool to move data.
