You guys helped me in choosing my NAS and i wanted to pass along a couple things that i learned today incase you run intro someone having issues. These are for QNAP Mine model is TVS-672XT.
Issue one could apply to any QNAP that can support a video card that is running PLEX server.
Plex not using Nvidia card.
By editing Preferences.xml in/Plex Media Server/Preferences.xml (with PMS stopped) , adding HardwareDevicePath="/dev/dri/renderD129" before the closing /> in the file. It will now use the video card for transcoding.
Error number two fixes an "Unable to instal the package" issue is very rare may only be me that gets it but you can find it here on my QNAP forum post.
