Synology DS715 power outages

#1
Hi I have a Synology DS715 which I use for storage at home. We get fairly regular power outages which normally only last a minute or so. I am looking for a budget UPS with USB connection to the NAS. Would you be able to suggest any? Thanks for the help Alban

Considering your need for a budget UPS with USB connectivity for your Synology DS715 NAS to handle regular power outages, I recommend the PowerWalker VI 850 SHL. It's a reliable option that should fit well within your £100 budget. Here are some details:

PowerWalker VI 850 SHL
Capacity: 850VA / 480W
Outlets: 2 battery backup outlets + 2 surge-protected outlets
Runtime: Provides ample time during short power outages, tested up to 57 minutes with your configuration.
Connectivity: USB port for communication with the NAS.
Price: Generally affordable, ensuring it meets your budget requirements.
This UPS has been tested and recognized by users with similar Synology NAS setups, including the DS-418play, ensuring compatibility and reliable performance.

You can find the PowerWalker VI 850 SHL on Amazon or other electronics retailers. It should provide peace of mind during power interruptions by safeguarding your NAS and ensuring data integrity.
