What NAS? - JonMace - 10-05-2023

Currently have a QNAP TS-543 pro, works well does want I have wanted, Jellyfin, and file storage.

Things have changed I now run a company and need more would really like 1 or remote windows 10 or 11 desktops (so Virtual machines)

The 543 pro even on win 7 and office 2019 has too much lag.

Budget is £600 - £700

The another £800 to £1000 for 48 TB of drives

Any ideas?

I recommend considering the newer QNAP TS-664 model. This NAS offers improved performance and allows for upgrades through its PCIe slot, ensuring that it not only meets your current needs but also provides room for future expansion. With a budget of £600-£700 for the NAS and an additional £800-£1000 for 48 TB of drives, this setup should serve you well in the long term.
