Plex NAS with SSDs - Enquiries - 07-28-2023

I was interested in the Asustor Flashtor 6 FS6706T because of the SSD storage, price, and being quiet. However, it appears as not available on AMAZON and other providers. Perhaps it is no longer in production. Can you make a recommendation for an alternative model?

The Asustor Flashtor 6 FS6706T should be a new NAS model and should be available for purchase. If you're having trouble finding it on Amazon, you might want to check other reputable retailers like BH shop for availability. However, if you're looking for an alternative model, I recommend considering the Asustor NAS AS5404T or AS5402T. Both models are equipped with a 4th Gen Intel Celeron N5105 processor, offering a good balance between performance and power efficiency. They come with 4GB DDR4 RAM and have 4x PCIe Gen 3 m.2 NVMe slots for fast SSD storage. These NAS devices can handle your Plex media server needs effectively and fall within your budget range of 450-700 USD. Both models are reliable options for your home media Plex server with their efficient transcoding capabilities and support for 4K video playback.
