Based on your primary use case of accessing and streaming media files and movies to your home theatre, all three NAS models you have selected, namely the Synology DS923+, Asustor AS6704T, and QNAP TS-653B, would suffice for local streaming purposes. However, if you're also planning to access your media remotely, it's worth noting that NAS models with Celeron processors tend to offer better performance in terms of transcoding capabilities. It's important to highlight that the DS923+ does not have a dedicated transcoding chip, unlike the DS423+. Therefore, if remote media access and transcoding are crucial factors for you, considering a Celeron-based NAS might be a more suitable option.
