LAN/NAS configuration - Enquiries - 05-17-2023
Good afternoon,
What do I have:
MAC Studio (OS 12.6.5)
Synology 920+ (in Synology RAID),
Synology DS220J (Mirror RAID)
Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station
What do I do:
I am a photographer, I work 99% of the time on images, seldom on videos.
What do I need:
the fastest possible connection between the computer and the NAS (mainly the 920)
Any suggestion about best hardware and/or software configuration to achieve « decent » transfer speeds?

You could use USB 5GbE adapter. Or maybe consider upgrading it to DS923+ and 10GbE.
