NAS; adding drive to storage pool - Enquiries - 04-26-2023 Have a DS1621+ with 2 drives (14tb available memory total) and have added a 3rd drive (another 8tb drive) but am not finding any way to add this drive to the current pool. Running a PLEX server with 1 pool/1 volume in raid 0, but the only options that the storage manager are giving me are to 1./ Assign a hot spare, or 2./ create a storage pool. What do I need to do to be able to add more drives? RE: NAS; adding drive to storage pool - ed - 04-28-2023 Yes, RAID0 is not expandable. You can create a second RAID group. Or you need to start from scratch. |
