NVME heat sinks synology? - Enquiries - 03-06-2023

I was considering buying two 1 TB WD Western Digital Red SN700 Solid-State Drive for read-write cache in my synology DS1821+ NAS. you mentioned heat sinks in your youtube video. Will I need to purchase separate heat sinks and if so do you have any recommendations for which model#? will my NAS accomodate such heat sinks?

thank you very much!

There is not much space for heatsinks on Synology. Also, it has a metal base there to dissipate the heat https://global.download.synology.com/download/Document/Hardware/HIG/DiskStation/21-year/DS1821%2B/spn/Syno_HIG_DS1821%2B_spn.pdf
