NVMe in Terramaster T9/T12-423 - Enquiries - 01-03-2023

As I want to mix drive sizes, Terramaster seems to be my only option. I am eyeing the Tx-4xx series, but wonder if: 1) isn't the NVMe port on the T9/T13-423 actually a double decker port, allowing to install 2 drives? And 2) is there (for my use) a significant difference between the N5105 and C3558R CPUs?

Thanks.

No, this NAS only support a single nvme - read only cache.

As for the difference between the N5105 and C3558R CPUs, both are quad-core processors that offer good performance for running a NAS. The C3558R is a more recent model and may offer slightly better performance than the N5105, but the difference may not be significant for most users. Ultimately, the choice between the two will depend on your specific needs and budget. If you are looking for the most powerful CPU available, the C3558R may be the better option, but if you are trying to save money, the N5105 could be a good choice as well.

I hope this helps.
