First time buyer for a new NAS - Enquiries - 01-01-2023
So I’m about ready to purchase my first my first NAS probably around march or april and I’m trying to decide between DS720+, DS923+, and DS1522+. The whole entire point of this NAS is to send files back and forward to clients and for remote access for multiple people and maybe to chat through as a possibility. Be aware I’m getting the QNAP TS-h973AX 9-Bay for storage and redundancy and the possibility of working off of one day.

All of these NAS are Synology flagship models. If you need 10GbE speed you need ds923+.
If you need multimedia transcoding remotely then you need ds720+.
If you need maximum capacity but are ok with no remote multimedia or no 10gbe then ds1522+ is for you.
