Need Assistance on QNAP NAS - Enquiries - 12-28-2022 Hello...Have TS832XURP and DS253D NAS in home office. Recently upgraded to Windows 11 Pro. Cannot figure out how to map network drive using an Office365 account. On the TS832XURP I have 8 8TB Iron Wolf Drives, on the TS253D I have 2 8TB Iron Wolf drives. It seems I have watched every Youtube video on mapping drives but I still have a permission problem I cannot figure out. I do not mind paying for support services if it helps me get my NAS's back. Can You help me? Thank You David Harms RE: Need Assistance on QNAP NAS - ed - 01-03-2023 To map a network drive using an Office 365 account, you will need to follow these steps: Open the "This PC" or "My Computer" window on your computer. Click on the "Map Network Drive" button in the ribbon. In the "Map Network Drive" window, select a drive letter for the network drive and enter the path to the network location in the "Folder" field. For example, you could enter "\your-nas-name\shared-folder" where "your-nas-name" is the name of your NAS and "shared-folder" is the name of the shared folder on your NAS. Check the "Connect using different credentials" box. Click on "Finish" to create the mapped drive. When prompted for a username and password, enter your Office 365 username and password. That's it! You should now be able to access the shared folder on your NAS using the mapped drive. I hope this helps. |
