After my first Nas - Enquiries - 12-27-2022 I'm after a suggestions for a Nas to run surveillance for approximately 4-8 cameras, run docker servers for a few games servers, and general back up of photos and files. If possible may use for a media server if it has the capability. Regards Timothy Reardon RE: After my first Nas - ed - 01-03-2023 There are several NAS devices that would be suitable for running surveillance, hosting game servers, and serving as a general backup and file storage solution. Here are a few options to consider: Synology DS1621+: This is a six-bay NAS that supports up to 8 IP cameras and has a powerful quad-core processor for running multiple applications simultaneously. It also supports Docker and has a range of apps for media streaming and file management. QNAP TVS-672XT-i5: This is a six-bay NAS that has an Intel Core i5 processor and support for running multiple applications concurrently, including surveillance, game servers, and media streaming. It also supports Docker and has a range of apps for file management and data backup. |
