Recommendation - Enquiries - 11-28-2022 I currently have a QNAP TS-251D 2-Bay NAS. I purchased it 2.5 years ago. I put all of my entire music catalog and several DVDs on the server. About 10 months ago, it was attacked by ransomware. I chose to wipe everything. I found the QNAP to be really difficult to set up (not super tech-savvy). I've been looking for a replacement that is easier to set up and transfer files to. I primarily use PLEX as my interface. RE: Recommendation - ed - 11-28-2022 Maybe you can still get a ds920+ which is perfect for multimedia. Otherwise, any other Celeron-based model will be a good choice. Synology will be easier to use. It also has more apps for mobile devices and computers. I hope this helps. |
